Fancying something sweet and nostalgic I updated my FB status to state that I was craving some bread pudding. All the while thinking to myself, "Who in their right mind will respond to this?" Seeing that bread pudding is not something typically sought after, I was surprised by the few responses I received. So compelling and simple was a response from one old friend. "GO TO Nordstrom's cafe - it's BOMB." that I decided to get dressed and headed out the door.
As I entered the mall I was flooded by the urge to shop but as I gazed lustfully at store windows, a little voice in my head reminded me "Never shop on an empty stomach." Brought back to earth by my conscience, I marched my way into Nordstrom and asked the closest clerk if said cafe existed. Pointed in the right directions, I marched up the escalators to find myself at the entrance. I quickly perused the menu, found the item I was searching for and ordered myself the WHITE CHOCOLATE BREAD PUDDING.
FINAL VERDICT - the bread pudding here is BOMB!
As I waited patiently for my FRESHLY BAKED dessert, I took a few minutes to glance over the menu and check the overall ambiance of the cafe. Though nothing else really stood out in memory, I did make a quick mental note that if I ever have a sudden compulsion to go on a shopping binge to stop by this place to curb my appetite for spending.
